This collection contains 7 small boxes, 2 books and one photo album from Dr. Robert L. Feller tenure as a senior fellow of the National Gallery of Art Research Project at the Mellon Institute of Industrial Research (1950) and later as director of the Research Center on the Materials of the Artist and Conservator. He retired in 1988. A copy of "Contributions to conservation science : a collection of Robert Feller's published studies on artists' paints, paper, and varnishes" by Feller, Robert L. ; Whitmore, Paul M.( 2002) is located in the reading room.
