Hubert I. Aaronson Collection
This collection contains the papers of Hubert I. Aaronson (1924-2005) an R.F. Mehl Professor of Metallurgy and Materials Science from 1979 to 1991. He greatly contributed to the body of knowledge that constitutes physical metallurgy.
Freda Cazen Abler Papers (CFA '31)
The Freda Cazen Abler Papers are made up of material documenting Freda Cazen's time at Carnegie Tech. It includes coursework, press clippings, and photographs of School of Drama producgtions from the late 1920s and early 1930s.
Admissions Office Records
This collection contains the records of the Admissions Office. The majority of the collection consists of annual Reports and Marketing Action Plans, as well as publications for prospective and enrolling students. The collection also contains datasets and studies on CMU admissions, correspondence and memoranda, general research material on academic marketing, and some material about the Carnegie Mellon Admission Council (CMAC).
Robert Adrian Papers
The Robert Adrian Papers contain information relating to many of the same projects documented in the Digital Art Exchange (DAX) collection, including preliminary organizational documents for "La Plissure du Texte," "Network Planetario," and the I.P. Sharp Associates' Artex (Artbox) artists' text network, the first of its kind in the world.
Alumni Association and Office of Alumni Relations Records
The Alumni Collection is housed in two boxes and arranged in four series. The collection contains records from the Alumni Association and other alumni-related organizations, publications made for alumni, documents produced by the Office of Alumni Relations, and information about various alumni. Series have been designated for newsclippings and photos, publications, administrative records, and events.
American Conservatory Theater Records
The American Conservatory Theater Collection consists of materials pertaining to the original mission, activities, and productions of the A.C.T. during the years 1965-1970.
Shirley Angrist Papers
The Shirley Angrist papers contains reports, surveys, statistical data, and correspondence pertaining to Dr. Angrist’s research on women’s issues during her tenure as an Associate Professor of Sociology in the School of Urban and Public Affairs at Carnegie Mellon University.
Association of Producing Artists Records
The Association of Producing Artists Collection includes materials relating to the establishment of the Association of Producing Artists (APA) by Carnegie Mellon School of Drama alumnus, Ellis Rabb and spans the years 1955-1970.
Christopher G. Atkeson Collection
The Christopher G. Atkeson Collection consists of robots, robotics parts and pieces, documentation for projects and software programs, prototypes, and robotics ephemera collected by Dr. Christopher Atkeson over the course of his career. These materials document projects from his professional career across multiple institutions, historic robotics projects at Carnegie Mellon University, and popular culture portrayals of robotics.
William Ball Papers
William Ball (1931-1991), a Carnegie Mellon alumnus, was the founder and director of the renowned American Conservatory Theatre (A.C.T.). This collection contains his papers, sketches, and lectures, as well as annotated scripts, photographs and audiovisual material, primarily from the early years of the American Conservatory Theatre.
