Scope and Contents note
The Theodore Viehman collection, which dates from 1892-1957, documents Viehman’s career as a director and instructor at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama. The material predominately includes professional papers relating to plays he directed and courses he taught either at CMU or at other universities. Other material, such as personal correspondence and clippings relating to subjects of interest to Viehman are scattered throughout. Two folders containing photographs of various plays can be found at the end of the collection.
The collection is comprised of a single series in which the material is arranged alphabetically.
