Program to Extend Curriculum Materials in English for the Wider Student Group, December 30, 1967

This series contains documentation relating to Project English, which officially began in 1961 as an initiative to improve English curriculums throughout the United States. Steinberg’s interest in the Project was focused on writing high school English, American Literature and World Literature curricula. The majority of the series is comprised of literature relating the projects as well as general surveys and studies.
