Carnegie Institute of Technology Educational Paper on The Interplay Between Liberal and Professional Courses in a College of Engineering and Science, March 1950
Scope and Contents note
Containing primarily meeting minutes and publications, this series comprises slightly more than one-half of a box (0.5 cubic feet). It exclusively documents non-Schatz activities. Folders are arranged alphabetically by topic, then by date.
The Educational Policy Committee existed to reiterate the educational point of view, as opposed to the financial view, to the university administration. These papers are related to the work of Provost Elliott Dunlap Smith, who chaired the committee. It is unknown how Schatz came to acquire these papers. The series also contains a complete set of the Carnegie Institute of Technology Educational Papers written by Provost Smith and others during the 1940s and 1950s.
