Carnegie Institute & Carnegie Library contains descriptions of Carnegie Institute of Technology, Carnegie Institute, and Carnegie Library buildings, and descriptions of the work done in the departments under the Institute: Carnegie Library, Library School, Fine Arts, Museum, Music Hall, Institute Press, and Carnegie Institute of Technology. The Memorial of the Celebration of the Carnegie Institute at Pittsburgh contains, "a complete description of the exercises connected with the eleventh celebration of Founder’s Day of the Carnegie Institute and opening of the Carnegie Library Building containing the Library, Music Hall, and Art Galleries, founded by Andrew Carnegie." There is also a 1907 pamphlet titled The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh: a bit of history with some pictures which contains a brief synopsis of the Carnegie Library’s origin and history, along with pictures of the all the branch buildings in existence at that point.
