From the Series:
Goodman’s second full length documentary explores how a group of 4,000, Camisa Verde e Branco (green and white shirts) come together in costume and choreographed dance and song in order to compete against other schools for the title of best Escola de Samba during Brazil’s yearly Carnival.
A majority of this series consists of interviews and footage of rehearsals as well as various stages of preparation for the final performance. Also included are... final versions.
