 Series — Box: 1

Scope and Contents note

Big Straw Magazine is a student-run Asian interest magazine that provides students with an outlet for artistic expression, cultural identity, and thought. Big Straw started in Spring 2006 as part of an Interpretation and Argument class on Asian American Literature. The professor, Dr. John Eperjesi, assigned the students a final project to create an Asian interest magazine. Big Straw was founded with the mission to cultivate and spread culture, creativity, and ideas, and to break down barriers and enable students to discover more about themselves and each other.
