Subseries 2 is housed in 2 boxes, numbers 9 and 10. It contains articles William Cooper produced on Data Envelopment Analysis, which was perhaps his best known contribution to the field of management science. He developed the method along with his colleague Abraham Charnes and his doctoral student Edwardo Rhodes. In addition to the articles and drafts, the majority of the file folders contain supporting research and correspondence.
