Baymax light-up toy with sound, 2014

 Item — Box: 4, Object: 6
Identifier: Sub-series 4

Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

This subseries contains various toys collected by Christopher Atkeson. Some of the toys are official merchandise from different media, including the Baymax toys from Big Hero 6. Also included here are several types of movement toys, which demonstrate how different joints can operate. Atkeson often uses pop culture to demonstrate the role of robotics in the everyday world and help students of all ages connect to different topics. The movement toys are examples of those which could be used by roboticists building robots from scratch in order to determine the best way to design for specific movement abilities.
