Scope and Contents

The Jim Garrison series of the Delta Upsilon Collection consists of a variety of fraternity-related materials compiled both during and after Mr. Garrison’s time as a student. Included in the series are chapter minutes written by Mr. Garrison in his post as chapter secretary; an assortment of photos and films of fraternity events, campus life, and the city of Pittsburgh; along with other fraternity ephemera.

Biographical / Historical

Jim Garrison (Architecture, 1980) was a student at Carnegie Mellon from 1975 until his graduation in 1980. During his time at CMU, Mr. Garrison frequently carried a camera, which he used to document fraternity events, campus life, and the city Pittsburgh. Mr. Garrison served as the chapter’s secretary in 1980.
