"Network Planetario" (April 1986)

This series consists of 294 color slides related to the artistic projects "SAREX: The Ultimate contact", "Network Planetario", "Video Crossing", "Aspects of Gaia", "DAX Dakar D'accord", and "Text, Bombs, and Videotape", as well as a few miscellaneous slides. The slides feature people involved in the projects as well as as slowscan images. The "DAX Dakar D'accord" slides documents the art performance shooting, meetings with Senegalese officials and artists, visits to educational and cultural institutions in Dakar, visits to the Slave House on Goree Island, and Dakar street views. The slides are filed separately from the rest of the collection, in a slide cabinet at the University Archives. No useful information is recorded on the slides themselves. Description of the slides in this series was copied from a spreadsheet which seem to have been created by someone with in-depth knowledge of the activities of the DAX group, probably Matt Wrbican.
