Content Description
4 boxes of films and videos from the CMU Film Club, also known as the Filmmaking Club. Founded in 1994 the CMU Film Club is an organization that provides students and friends of Carnegie Mellon University with the opportunity to learn and be inspired by the process of filmmaking. Members collectively participate in creating independent film and video media utilizing all aspects of technical and creative thinking. Film Club strives to be a campus-wide resource for student-run film productions including independent film projects and promotional videos for other organizations. The mission of the CMU Filmmaking Club is to produce and promote student filmmaking, both at Carnegie Mellon and in the greater community. The club is also responsible for the annual Shot for Shot Pittsburgh Intercollegiate Film Festival.
