Overview

The Marketing and Communications Photograph Collection documents Carnegie Mellon from 1959 to 2007. The photographs were taken by photographers in CMU’s Marketing and Communications department and Photography and Graphic Services. Additional materials are transferred to the University Archives on a regular bases. The collection consists of 35mm, 120mm, and 4x5 negatives, and digital files.

The collection is organized chronologically. For more recent images, please contact the University Archives.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Post-1983 35mm negatives were transferred to the archives by Photography and Graphic Services in 2015.
