Biography
John Wesner -- originally from Berkeley Heights, New Jersey -- graduated from Carnegie Tech in 1958 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While at Tech, Wesner served as a member of the campus Army ROTC. His ROTC service included membership in the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the Pershing Rifles, and the ROTC Regimental Staff. He was also a member of Tau Beta Pi (a national honorary society for engineers), Pi Tau Sigma (an honorary Mechanical Engineers Fraternity), Beta Theta Pi, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Phi Kappa Phi, and Scabbard and Blade.
Wesner returned to Carnegie Mellon as an adjunct professor of mechncial engineering.
