College of Fine Arts Records
This collection documents the College of Fine Arts between 1912 and 2010, more specifically the Department of Design and the Department of Painting, Sculpture and Art. Included are annual reports, meeting minutes, departmental correspondence and curriculum related materials. Also included are a number of publications and printed matter like exhibition catalogs, brochures, newsletters and newsclippings.
Admissions Office Records
This collection contains the records of the Admissions Office. The majority of the collection consists of annual Reports and Marketing Action Plans, as well as publications for prospective and enrolling students. The collection also contains datasets and studies on CMU admissions, correspondence and memoranda, general research material on academic marketing, and some material about the Carnegie Mellon Admission Council (CMAC).

Student Government Records
The Student Government Records consists of material created by the Student Government’s Executive and Legislative bodies during the years 1917-1987. These records include an assortment of Student Government constitutions, by-laws, budgets, and meeting minutes.

The Association of Producing Artists Collection includes materials relating to the establishment of the Association of Producing Artists (APA) by Carnegie Mellon School of Drama alumnus, Ellis Rabb and spans the years 1955-1970.
Earle Swank Papers
Earle Swank worked at Carnegie Mellon University for 40 years, starting as an English professor and retiring after serving 20 years as Dean of Student Affairs. As Dean of Student Affairs, he saw the University through the socially turbulent 60s and 70s. The collection includes correspondence, subject files, Disciplinary Committee files,publications, and reports.

This collection contains records of the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The collection spans the period from 1913 through 2007. Except for annual reports, the records are rather lacking from the early years through the 1940s. There are increasingly more records from the 1950s. The bulk of the records span the 1960s through the 1980s. There are a limited number of records from the 1990s and 2000s.
